We are so grateful to have had clean Hair Care Line, Innersence Organic Beauty send out one of their educators to our salon in South Pasadena this week to go over, hair health, scalp health, curly hair cutting, and curly hair styling!

For the majority of our Los Angeles based curly hair clients transitioning to clean hair care isn’t always an easy process. After years of using products that are not free of phthalates, ethoxylates, sulfates, silicones, 1,4 dioxane, parabens, petro compounds, propylene and butylene glycol, PEG, MEA, TEA, MIA, EDTA artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances their hair can go through a detox phase. Once our client breaks through that detox phase and their natural texture begins to receive the nutrients it needs, their curls begin to thrive!

As a team, we absolutely love coming together to learn more and more about how we can help our clients get through this transition smoothly. Sometimes a client needs us to hold their hand through the process as it can be frustrating and if we are not available to them and if we have not given them the proper education for while they are at home, they just might turn to their old products and start the cycle all over again.

Our aim as a Salon that is focused on healthy, natural textured hair is to not only give our clients the best while they are with us in the salon, but to also educate them on how to take care of their hair at home.

Classes like this allow us to take our knowledge to the next level bringing forth more abundance in all areas within our team and most importantly for our clients.
